Yesteryear Collection



Beginning as small-time cigar manufacturers, by the turn of the century Salmon and Gluckstein Ltd was the world's largest retail tobacconist, owning 140 retail outlets in 1901. Salmon and Gluckstein Ltd was bought by Imperial Tobacco in 1902 and the brand remained in prominence until 1955. 'Ribbon' cut tobacco is generally between 1/16" and 3/32" wide, and forms 'strands' of varying lengths.

Description: A blue body, bonnet, roof and closed rear doors on a red chassis; seats and steering wheel – LHD in black plastic; type 3 engraved rear doors with red rear lights; radiator grille, windscreen, headlights and side-lamps in chrome; red 12 spoke wheels on whitewall black tyres; logo on both sides and rear door.

Variations: Whitewall or plain black tyres.
Seats can be black or tan.
Plated parts can be chrome or gold.
